Fire Sale on the way in Cleveland?

Cleveland, Ohio

News out of Cleveland is that many of the major league players are on the trading block and are available. OF Sparky Andrews, starting RF Pat Crow, starting LF Hank Baker, starting 2B Nick Field are all said to be available on the offensive side of the ball. Nick Field, a young promising 2B, said that the trade rumors are all apart of the business and do not bother him, while Baker said that a change of scenery would be nice be will still play his heart out in Cleveland. Crow and Andrews were not available for comment.

Also a team source, who declined to give his name, stated that a couple of pitchers from the team where also available to be dealt. The team source, stated that SP Keith Adams, SP Al Fisher, and RP Heathcliff Quinn are all on the trade block.

General Manager ajb_101 said that "we as an organization are always looking at possible deals that will help our team improve." He went on to say "Any deal presented to us by other teams is given a serious look at before any answer is given." When asked about what the team is looking to acquire the general manager said, "As always we have a long term game plan, so we want younger players that can help us in the future."
